25 April, Day 111. Atlantic.

A cloudy day but comfortable temperature and only moderate rolling. We are finishing the business ends of the voyage, making farewells and working on the last suitcase. Our schedule calls for disembarking tomorrow (26th) at 0845. We will be taken to the airport and wend our way home. Thats the plan.
This morning we attended (along with almost every other passenger and most of the crew) a disembarkation briefing and crew farewell salute.

The noon report showed total cruise of 31,882 nm with 350nm to go. Course 246º, speed 19.8knots. The wind is East at 23 knots , or force 6. Air temp is 23c, 73f.

Captain Olav stopped off in the Neptune late this afternoon and received from our group a hearty thank you and a toast to Captain and crew. He is going to take us close to Nassau at about 1900 as one last treat. The Neptune was busy with passengers coming and going and a lot of good byes going on. We know from experience that some of these friendships will not be fleeting.

At 1800 our bags to be shipped went into the hallway for delivery to the FedEx people. The plans call for a final piano bar cocktail hour, dinner in the main dining room and bed by 2200.
