4 April, Day 89 at Sea

We left Aqaba and spent sailed down the Gulf of Aqaba, rounded the Sinai, headed west then turned Northward into the Gulf of Suez. Mid afternoon we came to the anchorage outside Port Suez and dropped our hook along with many other ships to await our turn to transit the Suez Canal.  Entertainment was provided by 3 boats vying for permission to tie up and come aboard. The wind came up and the bum boats gave up and went off to try their luck on a Chinese container ship.
