Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. We boarded at 2pm and found most had boarded earlier. We found our cabin right off and soon luggage started to appear. Our cabin stewards are Supardi and Dead End, a couple of great guys who will be fun. We unpacked until 5 then dashed up on deck to enjoy the champagne and rum punch bon voyage/sail away party. With a mountain of luggage and supplies still on the pier the departure was delayed. After more unpacking and a glass of champage anyway, we slipped away at 6:30pm (1830) . The first night is quiet as most are tired and ready to settle in.
